Not sure if it’s the same now but when I was a kid in the 1970’s we used to plaster our school pencil cases, binders, bags etc. with our favourite bands names (or even copy the logo from an advert in Sounds, Melody Maker, NME if we were any good at art).
That got me thinking, what are the greatest band logos of all time? Really, they should be thought of as brands in their own right and easily recognised. And as we all know teenagers love wearing brands – take a look in any high street!
